This is Dani as a young cat who is growing up fast. She was about 18 months in these pictures. Her fur is longer but has not yet grown to its radical length, as it is now. Her coat is constantly changing colour, too, and becomes lighter as she ages because the small patches of colour become more dominant.
Here Dani enjoys her freedom as we no longer keep her on a leash. She never goes very far, and we are there to catch her if she should. This is the dilemma of every parent. How do you expand their boundaries and keep them safe at the same time?
Dani was also very anxious to choose her own accessories for this photoshoot. I think she did a marvelous job coordinating it all.
We wanted to maintain these images for PAWSterity, so here is Dani on a feature wall in our family room.
It's just too awesome for words.
