SOX ON HIGH

Sox is back at home with his Daddy.  I let him have that "nest" I had bought for him when he was living with us.

Sox is doing well and has really gotten into the swing of things.  His old habits around his house, in and out, have come to the fore -- and one in PURRticular.

He had a little nip or two and now he wants to say hello.

"High" says he.

How are you Sox?

"High" says he.

"Oooh, dat smarts!"

DANI'S SPRING VISIONS

Dani's happy because now that it's Spring her choice in millinery and other accoutrements is almost endless.
Her teal feathered fascinator is more than just fascinating ...

... it's downright surreal!

SOX GOES HOME!

Sox left our house on Sunday with his Dad, my son Ryan.

We had been Sox's babysitters, only, but as time wore on it seemed like he was a regular part of our household.  I have gathered some pictures of Sox taken over the past year as a scrapbook post, of sorts.

Sox wants in!

Sox having a ball at Christmas.

Sox falls head-over-paws for Autumn!

Sox is cornered!

Sox in his flower-power period.

Looking forward to supPURR!

Sox finds that life on the inside is kinda cushy.

Sox bellies up!

Sox and Dani have vowed to keep in touch.

Yes, Dani is missing Sox already.  She has been mewing and whimPURRing, seemingly calling out for him.  Sadly, she must return to her single-kitty status.

Not to worry, though, because my son Ryan has told me he will bring Sox over for visits from time to time.  I have also asked him to take pictures now and then, so I can post them on this blog.

In the meantime, we will miss you Sox.  You have a place in our hearts furevermore.

And from now on, we hope your Daddy continues to rub you the right way.  Hallelujah!

SOX: PUSSYFOOTING AROUND

In early Spring where we live, there's usually still some snow and ice in various stages of melting.

Sox has to be very careful not to put a foot wrong.  He sidesteps (i.e., pussyfoots) around any liquid obstacle, but ...
... once he's sure of his footing, he isn't shy of drinking from that very same source. He just doesn't like getting his paws wet.
"Mmmmm, refweshin'!" remarks he.

There's nothing quite like the newly melted ice to quench your thirst.

The only thing Sox likes better comes later in Spring, when puddles turn into ponds.  Then he's not in the least bit "coy", and steps right up to the brink, not just for a drink ...
.

... but to purrtake of a fresh fish feast fit for an emPURRor.

DANI ON SPRING THINGS

Spring is one of Dani's favourite times of year.

It's still early in the season, but Dani wanted to dress up in her Spring finery anyway. Even though she has to stay inside for the nonce, she decided to adorn herself with her flower-topped fascinator and fancy pink and teal bag.

"At least it makes me feel springy" she said.

(It makes me feel dizzy just looking at her!)

Dani's hoping to go outside in the garden when it starts to bloom, though she knows she has to be careful not to wander or consort with any other cats (other than Sox, that is).

"Rock on!" she exclaims whilst sitting on a rock.
