DANI'S COMEDY CREW

 Dani's on overload today when it comes to her comedy crew.  But all that means is it's a longer cruise!

Dani starts things off as purr usual, in the first two spots.  Then comes Angels Dylan and Dante panting for attention.  Our regular purrformer, June of Zoolatry does double duty before Brian and Simon of Brian's Home do their own thing.

Finally, we have Mudpie of Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows and Emmy of 15andMeowing bringing it home at last.

We hope you like our extended version and that you'll get a couple more giggles or at least an extra smile or two.

We're off ...

 

AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI: I BELEAVES IN AUTUMN

Dani is fascinated by the autumn leaves.

"So I made a fascinator outta dem" says Dani. 

 "Leaves give me a heads up on Fall.

An' if my heads up, I kin see ware dey land."

"I also likes uddah symbols a' Fall, like punkins an' GNOMES."

"O dear, the cat let it out of the bag. 

 And we were hoping to remain an-GNOMEY-mous!"

We should give her a 'What Four'" say the four of them in unison.

SUNDAY SELFIE WITH DANI: DO-IT-YOURSELFIE

Another Sunday, another episode in selfie-destruction.

This time Dani asked me to hold my camera, and she would press the button with the end of her stick.  

When it didn't happen quite as she envisioned, her tempurr flared and made the outcome even worse.

At the very least this picture isn't as bad as last week's.  She still has her mouth open, though.  I think she underestimated her hunting instinct because the urge to chomp was uncontrollable.

If you look at it in a pawsitive way, you could say Dani has a 'flare' for photography.  And she has always been a 'stickler' for punishment.

So, once again, the outcome is purely a statement of Dani's purrsonality.  Isn't that every photographer's ultimate goal?

CATURDAY ART WITH DANI: ILLUSION AND REALITY

This week I have done everything on Photoscape, from adding the frames to creating the effects using various filters.

It's a bit different because Dani is just a blur of fur from start to finish.  She was playing with some random grass and other green detritus.  And, absolutely no posing was done in the making of this photo which makes it all the more real.

So, at least Dani had fun rolling around on the walkway and inhaling green stuff.  Who knows maybe some of it was actual catnip.  The ones on the left look kind of like mint which is all part of the family when it comes to ye olde catnipee.

Dani, herself, has no illusions at all.

"If yoo doan has illooshuns, yoo kin nevah be disillooshunned" says she.

What a realistic reproach!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: UNBURIED TREASURES

DANI'S DADA TAKES A TURN (IN A FUNNY WAY)

 Dani's Dada turns 70 years old today, so we are dedicating a special Comedy post for his birthday featuring (you got it) just Dada and Dani.

His favourite thing in the whole wide world is a good old apple pie from SCRATCH -- which I will make myself with Dani's help, of course.

So we are welcoming Dani's Dada onto our stage.  He asked to have free reign and we both said "Yes".  Silly Dada doesn't know dat rain is always free, so it's a plus for us.

Let's see if Dada and Dani are off to a good start ...

When those back legs get going, all bets are off!

For those not in the NO, just substitute the word COMPLAIN for KVETCH.

KVETCHing is especially impawtant at the VET's office.

Just wait until the tinkle hits the toes.  I wonder if it really makes a tinkling sound.

So Dada is a secret masochist!  Who knew?  A SIDE from Dani, that is.

How can something so simple become so compliCATed?

Let's give Dada a hand, efurryone!  He's gonna need it.

Dani herself may be hard to resist but her level of resistance is far from futile.

Workers over 70 have a right to nap (unless they're a leftist, of course).

Yes, and these kind of cans can just be POPPED, but then you know that, don't you Dani?

At least he shouldn't take up his share of  LEGroom at the "AA" meetings.

Nobody wants to be CRITTER - SIZED unless they first know the size of the critter.

Well, I hate to tell you but it's time for Dada's nap (again).  Even though he won't get his cake and eat it, too, he'll be scarfing down an entire apple pie all on his own.  Let's face it -- he OWNS it!

He doesn't even need to blow out candles!

Question I am always asking Dani:  "WHAT did Dada DO?"

SUNDAY SELFIE WITH DANI: WASTED OPPURRTUNITY

 This is a picture which I took of Dani at the exact moment she was taking a Selfie of herself.  Somehow I knew this was going to be a disaster.

1.  She is holding the camera way too close.

2.  She only has it pointed inside her mouth.

3.  She was yelling at the camera so her mouth is wide open.

4.  She was trying to grab the dangle from the dangle toy simultaneously.

And that's why Dani's selfie this week is a FAIL!

The moral of this story is:

 Never let your cat try to do more than one thing at a time.

Especially if they're a NO-IT-ALL.

(You know the kind who say "NO" to efurry helpful suggestion.)

"Harumph!"

CATURDAY ART WITH DANI: OVER THE EDGE

 Dani's gone over the edge this week, showing off her patchy Torbie coat.

The first three images were done on Photoscape using one of my many stored frames.  I also used Photoscape filters to achieve the watercolor effects in the first two images.  The third is an original where I increased the color saturation a little.

The following three used filters from Fotosrus.  First I applied a Portrait filter which smooths out the texture, and then played with different levels of saturation.
