DANI DEEP IN THE PURRPLE

Dani's showing off her first new dress of the season.  And it's purrple, of course.  Boy, is it purrple!

The top part of the dress is purrple-and-white striped jersey with two buttons at the neck and a ruffle part way down.

 

 The full skirt is deep purrple tulle adorned with three light lilac-coloured bows.

Upon her head Dani is wearing a dark purrple pillbox hat enhanced with a lighter lilac flower and a silver clip at the rim surrounding three tiny Tahitian pearls.

Dani's necklace is a classic white gold chain culminating in a deeply-hued amethyst rimmed in diamonds ...

... and her purrple purrse has four layers of ruffled leather echoing the ruffle in her dress.

Normally, I'd have to smooth Dani's ruffled feathers, but since she's not wearing any today that won't be necessary.

Her birdie friend is quite another matter, however.

Not happy.  Not happy at all.

She must have twigged to something!

DANI'S WORLD: PAWT II

Dani's back in her purrivate world enjoying the warmer weather.

 "Even doe I loves my flowahs, dey is blockin' my view of the street."  says Dani.

So Dada put some in the urn and I put a few in the vase.

"Now I kin see wot's goin' on in da naypurrhood."  she says.

It's important to see what's coming and ...

... with these flowahs all around

I can still see out but not be found.

How profound!

DANI'S WORLD: PAWT I

Dani's in her own little world, surrounded by flowers.  It's a heavenly world; one might say "heaven scent".

 Dani's wearing a flowery band upon her head, and her future's looking rosy!

 When it comes to petals, Dani prefurence is purrple.

"Welcum to my whirled" says Dani.

DANI: ABOUT FACE

Here's Dani in her front porch chair enjoying the fresh spring air -- and I do mean, "fresh"!  It's still a little nippy out there, but well worth the exposure nonetheless.

 "I'm facin' right cuz I has da right ta doo it" exclaims Dani assertively.

"So now I hasta giff da same chance ta my left face -- to make it right!" says she.

"Duz dis mean I'm two-faced???"

DANI: TO DREAM OR NOT TO DREAM, THAT IS THE QUESTION

Dani is out, if not about, and wearing her new spring hat with selected accoutrements.

And what a lovely spring hat it is in hues of peach, yellow and mint in an expansive boater style, enhanced with a veiled bow.

Dani's necklace is quite stunning.  It's a gold scalloped-edged collar decorated with peach flowers and silver filigree culminating in two dangling white pearls.  Here's a close-up look:

C'est merveilleux, n'est-ce-paw?

And not to mention (except I'm mentioning it) Dani's handbag which is stunning all on its own!  It's a little Gucci number with embroidered spring flowers and butterfly on a taupe geometric background with horseshoe-shaped silver clasp and shoulder chain.  Unique, to say the least.

Hold on!  There's Dani still inside locked down because of the Coronavirus. Was this real or just part of a dream?

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH GUEST STAR SOX: STUNNED!

DANI CAN DO MEXICAN

Dani's all hepped up for Cinco de Mayo.  There's so much going on she doesn't know where to look. Right now it seems she's spied the pinata -- maybe because I told her there were treats inside it.

Don't worry, another couple of margaritas and you'll be batting 300 (treats, that is)!

And then she noticed the fish tacos ...

"I jus' loves fish tacos, but pleez HOLD DE MAYO!"
declares Dani.

"Come ta fink of it, chipmunks ain't too bad eider."

DANI: A PETROSPECTIVE

Let's go back to a gentler time.  Here's Dani in May 2017 when she was just 3-1/2 months old.  Her ears looked even bigger then!   Isn't she Awwwwwwwwwsome?

Dani was sporting her 'Minnie Mouse' outfit, but her ears were cuter than the ones on the hood of the dress, so we didn't cover them up.

"I is my verreh own Minnie Me" says Dani proudly.

Being a kitten she can get rather out-of-hand. 

 Here she looks like she's auditioning for a new TV show called "Claw and Disorder".

"No one is above da CLAW!" says she.

MAY FIRST WITH DANI

It's the first of May and something Dani has been looking forward to for quite some time.  After all that rain in April, the flowers can't be all that far off now it's May.

So Dani's in her reverie thinking of all the days to come.  After all, even with the coronavirus you can still enjoy your purrsonal garden.

"Even if we is between a rock an' a hawd place, I'll take a rock anytime -- speshully a rock gawden."

"ROCK ON!" says she.
