AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI KITTEN AND PLUSHIES

 Dani found some of her kin on Etsy.  Kin you believe it?

These plush Maine Coons are available on Etsy at FunAnimalArtdolls.  They also specialize in making custom replica dolls to match your kitty or woofie. The dolls are expensive, but for those who can afford them, they must bring a lot of joy and contentment.

I took the liberty of naming each of them just for this post.

 If these kitty dolls don't leave you in Awww, I don't know what would.

FUNNY FRIDAY WITH DANI AND ASSOCIATES

 Dani has taken the lead once again to gather up all her rambling reps, and this time it took longer than usual.  Dani gave herself two spots; Dani Kitten is new, oddly, and the other is a recycled one from when I did my Soups Series.

As usual, her BFF June of Zoolatry is never far away, and lands in the second spot.  Macy and Kiki both of Brian's Home are right on June's tail, in spots tailored just for them.

Ernie of Island-Cats follows with the next couple of spots, but only one of them is dedicated to him.  You see, he has swans on and around his property, so we thought we'd like to give them props, too.

Next up is either Rusty or Rudy of 15and Meowing.  They are twins and even their Mom can't always tell them apart.  For comedic licence, I chose Rudy.

Mudpie of Mochas,MysteriesandMeows receives some good dating advice, while Katie Isabella of Katie Isabella has a fit (fit for a primadonna, or more precisely fit for a primaisabella).

Shimshi of Purr-sonally Speaking, representing the J-Cats, has his own way of combatting the heat. And finally Tommy and Teaghan of Tommy and Teaghan have never been closer and show us what family and familiarity is all about.  Talk about abutments!  Aiding and abutting, that's key.

 Dani's somewhat disturbed today, but like a true-purr she carries on.

As well as Dani, today's manifest includes June of Zoolatry, Simon and Seal, sepurrately, of Brian's Home.

Next in line are Angel Emmy of 15andMeowing, and Mudpie of Mochas,MysteriesandMeows.

Then along comes Katie Isabella of Katie Isabella, Ernie of Island-Cats, J-Cat Caspurr of Purr-sonally Speaking, and finally, Tommy of Tommy and Teaghan.

Aye! Aye! Captain.  All present and accounted for (actually, there's ten).

AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI KITTEN: TURNS OUT SHE'S COLOSSAL!

 This is Dani Kitten at about four months old.  She loved going into the front garden because she could hide behind the huge hosta leaves to amusing effect.

We kept her on a longer leash and monitored her carefully from the porch.  It was never very long before she extricated herself from the giant green peduncles which were stalking her and came begging for Temptations; proof that the relative comfort of the porch and a savoury treat held more sway.

For your further enjoyment (we hope), below is an artified rendering of Dani around two or three weeks old.  Here eyes are still blue, and her ears aren't yet standing up.  I think it's funny to see her well-developed lynx tips drooping like that.  Her shadow echoes it purrfectly on the wall.

And here's another bonus shot!  These are Dani's two siblings and she is in the middle.

There is a large differential between Dani and the size of her brother Thor, and her sister Mado.  Let's face it, Dani is a monster along with everything else.

Most female Maine Coons don't even come close to Dani in size!  I wonder if she had a secret hoard of testosterone.  Good thing she is spayed, because if she had a crush on some male cat, she would crush HIM in the process.  

Did you know Maine Coons keep growing for up to five years?  I am just grateful that Dani has now past her sixth birthday.  We haven't weighed her recently but she was 23 lbs. last year.  And I know she's more massive now (and I don't mean overweight).  She is fulfilling the promise of her kittenhood, even though I didn't necessarily want her to.

Dani and I wish you good days ahead, not too hot and not too wet.  Dani is well aware that a happy medium is an illusive thing.

 Dani is leading a bunch of newbees who have already learned to speak up for themselves.  They have obviously picked up tips from the mistress herself.

With the exception of the picture featuring Dani, all of the photography was done by Nils Jacobi of Bored Panda who describes himself as a "catographer".  Count me in as his newest fan.🪭

I simply added rhyming captions which were inspired by each kitten.

HAPPY TUESDAY WITH DANI: THE CATCHWORD FINALE

 Well, it's time to wrap up these Catchwords into a little ball for the cat to play with.  After all, they allowed ME to play with them.

So, this is the last of these purrticular posts, especially since it's getting harder and harder to make them make sense.  You may notice I have pushed the limits on a couple of today's words.  I have also reversed the placement of the word CAT in a few.

Ah well -- it's been fun.  

Now, that's an UNDERstatement!
