IT MAY BE FALL BUT DANI'S MINTY FRESH (PAWT II)

Dani's back again in her newest frock after changing up her accessories.  Somehow it has transformed the entire outfit into something more dressy.

First of all there's her speCATular hat.  It's green, it's wide-brimmed and it's completely fabulous!

She's also wearing a fancier necklace with a sparkling gem fastening the pendant to the chain.

And here's a close-up of her peridot bracelet:

Her handbag is made of two-tone leather:  a sage green, trimmed in mint with a silver clasp.  Gasp!

Dani's surroundings speak of the transition to fall.  Lying on the front porch mat, she is simply aDOORable!  She adores that front door, that's for sure.  She's waiting for this photoshoot to be over so she can go inside.  She's such a patient girl.

And here she is afterwards, enjoying a well-deserved break reading one of her favourite magazines. All good things comes to she who waits.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: JUST DROPPING IN!

IT MAY BE FALL BUT DANI'S MINTY FRESH (PAWT I)

Dani's wearing quite a summery frock and even though fall has arrived, she was still determined to wear it.

"It wuz delivered late"  she said, "but not too late!"

As you can see it's VERY green.  It's made out of t-shirt material so is quite stretchy.   The front bodice is a solid minty colour and the sleeves are short and puffy.

The back is green with white stripes which gives the dress a more casual appearance.  The skirt is a solid green double ruffle with mint-coloured satin ribbon on the back at the waist.

Dani has chosen to coordinate this dress with a mint-green straw hat with black-accented rim, and a mint-and-white patterned purrse, also trimmed in black.  She is wearing a sterling silver necklace with trillium pendant around her neck and a peridot ring on her paw.

Dani will reprise her green frock tomorrow, making it appear a little more dressy (which isn't hard to do since it's a dress).  In the meantime she's busy trying on different accessories to change things up.  Nobody every said the life of a fashion model was easy.

"Who me? I'm as easy as dey come" said she. 

DANI WISHES DADA A "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"!

Dani loves her Dada and today he's turning 66!  So she is joining him on the front porch for some birthday festivities.

Today Dada is the Birthday King so we have crowned him as such.  He wanted an apple pie for his birthday (rather than a cake), so his wish was my command.

Better blow out those candles quick, though, before Dani's tail catches fire!

Dani whispered that she would sing "Happy Birthday" to Dada but she has a frog around her neck that might jump in her throat if she opens her mouth.

At least her mousie friend is going to make sure that froggie's mouth is clean and fresh before he gets in.


But Dani thought she would make do with a sweet birthday wish instead.

"I loves yoo, Dada, an' I hopes yoor birfday will be very mice (yum)!"

Note:  This wish has no ulterior motive, whatsoever. 
Dani just wants to have some party
 guests for supper.

DANI LOST IN THOUGHT

Dani is totally lost in thought.

"Ware am I?" she asks.

 "Let me fink ..."

"Got any hints?"

"Yes, it starts with the letter 'H'" I replied.

"Am I in my own Head?"

"Well that, too" says I, but is there anything else that springs to mind?  

The second letter is an 'O'."

"Ho, Ho, Ho -- am I at da Norf Pole?"

"Let me give you one more hint.  You're a regular homebody, so where would you bee, silly?"

"I'm Home, I'm Home!!!

"That's right, Dani. You finally got it."

"An' dere's noware dat I'd rathah bee!"

DANI'S SEPTEMBER PETROSPECTIVE: BEFORE AND AFTER

This first picture of Dani was taken exactly one year ago.  Her pretty little face hasn't changed much except that it's much larger now, as is the rest of her.

"Yup, dat wuz me!"

Dani's face is more mature now, more lovely as opposed to being "cute", and the mane around her neck has multiplied manyfold.   Wowsa!
