AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI: DOMINO WORE IT FIRST X

Well, this is the final installment of "Domino Wore It First".  Some of you may be glad about that, but at least it brought me some satisfaction taking a look back. 

Domino usually appears to be the superior model, but she was fully an adult and had practice from a very early age.  Dani was kitten-sized, and could still fit into the dresses.  So there was a limited time-frame to recycle Domino's wardrobe.

There were times Domino was chubbier, like in the pictures of her below, but she likely topped out at 8 lbs.  Due to a thyroid condition, she spent the last part of her life at a mere 6 lbs.

I loved this dress.  Very classic in white with black polka dots and a black satin bow at the waist.  The collar was also quite prominent, being larger in comparison to the dress, than most.

It was a purrfect foil for my black and white tuxedo kitty.

Now here is Dani aged approximately eight months, wearing the same dress.  She wouldn't even lift her head up off the chair where she had just flopped.  I managed to eke out a few pictures though her modelling technique leaves much to be desired.  But kitten is as kitten does.

No judgment here; she was just a baby.  It was my fault after all for putting the dress on her in the first place.  I relieved her of this burden right after snapping a couple of shots.

So, since this is the last installment of the Domino/Dani juxtaPAWSition, I thought I would throw in a picture of the very first dress Dani ever wore.  Here she is, at about four months of age, wearing the Minnie Mouse hooded-with-ears frock.  

Once again Domino was cool as a cucumber, but then she actually enjoyed being dressed up.  Dani did well enough, and even better when I removed the hood from her head.   So much for making a mouse out of a mouser!

 

At least Mickey and Minnie are still in the

throes of their whirlwind romance.

They went "Whee, whee, whee!"
