DANI IN VIVICOLOUR

Today we are showing off some quite speCATular shots from a recent photoshoot of Dani outside on her porch chair (where else?).

To explain what you are seeing I will show you some of the natural shots before editing.

This is Dani standing upright on her hind legs looking at the neighpurrs next door.  Pretty cute as it is, but you will note the bright sun is lighting up her left lower side washing out all the colour.

For the rest of her lower body which is in the shade, it is still lighting up her fur with a glow from the bright red chair.  

The demarcation of the sunlight and shadow is quite striking.

So I took advantage of this rare event and enhanced it in the following pictures:

Et voila!  The finished and slightly intensified picture.  What a complement to her natural furs!

And here is another, not quite as vivid, but stunning nonetheless.  I still can't get over that backwash of orange from the red cushion!  I have been taking pictures since about 2007, and never had such a result.  It's all due to nature (for the sunshine) and the red MEWtation (from the manufactured pillow).

So from Dani and I, have a great Friday.  Wishing you sunshine and cool breezes wherever you may be.  And shade, of course, if need be.

Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I put her in water???
