OH DANI GIRL!

There is an old familiar Irish song called "Danny Boy" which our Dani has adapted for her own purrposes.  Our family has a Scottish heritage which Dani has embraced wholeheartedly.

Here she is in her bright red plaid tartan tam (with wig attached) and coordinating scarf pinned with a vintage Celtic brooch.  Her purse is a little tartan clutch embellished in silver with the Scottish thistle and proudly proclaiming "Scotland" itself.

The Celtic knot displayed to the left of Dani combines the Tudor rose which symbolizes England and the thistle which represents Scotland as they were joined under one sovereign.

In the distance you can hear the bagpipes' haunting melody and voices singing in harmony:

"Oh, Dani Girl, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen and down the mountain side
The summer's gone and all the roses falling
It's you, it's you, must go and I must bide

But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Dani Girl, Oh Dani Girl, I love you so"

"Oh Dani Girl, Oh Dani Girl, I love you so"
