DANI TOOK A BATH AND FOR THAT I AM THANKFUL

As you will see from the following, Dani took a bath BIGTIME!  

In popular FURnacular this means that she experienced a significant loss, but the only thing I can think of her losing is all the loose hair and detritus that had worked its way into her furs.  Oh, and a whole lot of saliva!

This is how Dani started off her bath -- quite slowly, applying tongue to front paw.

About halfway through, this is how Dani looked.  She must have been twirling that tongue something fierce to produce all of those curlicues in her coat!

Tongue-twirling is a very exhausting experience.  Dani required some recuPURRative snoozing before she could get back into action.

And between the first lick, the intermediate tongue-twirls and the nap, this is what it looked like.

Yup, I think this is a pretty comprehensive detailing of most of the high points.  There are others that didn't turn out so well,  But, just before her nap, Dani had to give me this sly look as if to say:  "Are you done yet?"

And all I have to say is "Not in the least!"

I am thankful to Dani for allowing me to have this very special photoshoot, because usually she doesn't voluntarily make herself available for such things.  However, this one happened on Mother's Day and it was her gift to me.  Thank you my darling girl.  You made my day!
