DANI'S COMEDY: JUDGE FOR YOURSELF

 Dani's doing her comedy from court today.  And she's very unaPAWlogetic about whatever comes out of her mouth.

"I noes dis joke isn't PAWlitickly correct, but dat's wot comedians duz. We pushes da bowndaries o' gud taste."

In fact when it comes to good taste,

this judge is always "out to lunch."

DANI’S REVERIE

Dani's indoors on her favourite purrch -- the cat tree in the family room.  It's been too hot to go out most days this summer, so she is making do with the inside view.

That doesn't mean she isn’t daydreaming about the outdoors.  All the grass and flowers and dragonflies and other winged things.

Then she had an idea:  "Why cant sumwun jus' put on de air conditionin' out dere?"

I don't think Mother Earth could tolerate that, nor any of the environmentalists!

But Dani still has butterflies on her brain -- or else

she's just a pussycat praying furvently fur prey.

"Wot a deliCATcy!" she sighs.

And that's just about the SIGHs of it.

At least for now.

DANI’S COMEDY RUNS HOT AND COLD

This is a gig that Dani recorded last winter.  For those of you currently in a heatwave, it might help to cool you down, as well as giving you a giggle.  After all what are gigs for if not to give you a giggle!

DANI MAKES PESTO

 Dani's been dabbling in lots of different things lately.  This time she's turned her focus to cooking.

And being the PURRfectionist that she is, Dani has gone the extra mile ...

... by growing fresh basil from seeds.

Of course she had a book to guide her called "Basil from Seed to Table" (see above).

It certainly isn't a short process to nurture and grow a plant, and then process it into pesto before ultimately being able to make your dish.  However, Dani has the patience and determination to accomplish it.

In the end she has produced a rather simple offering called Pesto Pasta which belies the complexity of the process.  She combines fresh pesto and fresh pasta to delight its consumers.  In case you're interested to try it yourself, Dani has included a link to the recipe she recommends:

DANI’S COMEDY: SEW WHAT?

It may seem that Dani has gone back in time for this gig.  However she has merely set the stage to enhance it.

Dani’s sewing machine was left to her by her

Great, Great, Great Aunt Stitches.  

"It giffs a whole noo meanin' to da word "Used", duzn't it?’   

Nonetheless,  Dani tried to repair it, and in doing so she freed some moths from underneath which magically turned into butterflies.  She figured that was Auntie Stitches sending her a sign from beyond.

THE UNIMPEACHABLE DANI

 Dani's in the mood to get dressed to the nines today.

What a lovely hat in peach and tan tones!  They go very well with Dani's complexion.

Her necklace, in the same colours, has a pendant painted with flowers and a charming teapot.

And Dani's purrse is a veritable work of art!  Little wonder since it's a Versace (or as Dani likes to call it, a 'Fursachy')..

So Dani, how are you feeling today?

"Peachy keen!" says she. "Anywun wanna cuppa?"

DANI: THE DAYS OF WHINE AND ROSES

Today Dani is doing her stand-up act sitting down.  I guess that makes it a sit-down act, actually.  Maybe she'll get a sitcom gig out of this after all!

Purrhaps Dani's been into the booze a little more than usual these days.  Of course that can be a boon to comedy at times.  It even looks like she has some very special followers.

The best comedy is enhanced with a little whine.

"Dis drink is too bittah." says Mouse 1.

"Sour grapes!" says Mouse 2.

Let's just hope they don't need any mouse-to-mouse resuscitation after this ...

... or anything else pawtentially CATastrophic!

Dani is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry thankful for her Dada.

Although in this picture it may look questionable ...

... when they finally get together, it's a regular lovefest.

Not to mention it's an armful ...

an armful of love!

Enough to sustain an army.
