CATURDAY ART WITH DANI: PEACE, LOVE AND A PUSSYCAT

 Dani is dressed up like a hippie from the 1970's.  It makes me very nostalgic because I was a child of the '70s and it brings back a lot of memories.

I used Fotosrus for just about everything; their filters for changing colours and textures and adding the light effects.  The Collage maker was the final touch, and they have myriad incarnations.

DANI & FRIENDS GONE OVER THE TOP!

Well, today's funnies turned out to be a little more arduous than usual.

Let's start off with first one of Dani.   There she is as a renaissance painting!  I took a photo of her and painted on the costume afterwards, based on a piece that someone else had already produced online, e.g.

I guess you would call this a rePURRduction as the original was a human.  

My effort is far less complicated than this as far as the artwork is concerned, but more daunting in coming up with something somewhat aMEWSing.

As far as the lineup goes, Dani takes the first two spots; June of Zoolatry the next two; Seal represents one for the Brian's Home Team; and one more from my anonymous friend's cat, Baby, who is actually all grown up.

So lettuce begin even though the summer heat has spoiled it.

The cost of PETROL is sky-high these days, 

but then so are PET-TROLL's fumes.

While June toys with the snail,

 she vows always to GO for it even 

if it does have a fishy smell.

I vote for Seal to be the next town cryer!😿

Note:  I looked up the word "maudlin" before using it here, and was pleased when more than one meaning came up including "overemotional and tearful".  If 'maudlin' fits then use it!  

I bet that took quite a bit of skullDUGGERY, dig it?

AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI: DOMINO WORE IT FIRST IV

Dani is back with her Angel-Sisfur Domino again to inspire your AWWW.  It is Monday after all.

 This is Domino in August 2013.  She is wearing a gorgeous pink dress with floral lace bodice and layered chiffon shirt.  At the waist there are two ivory-coloured flowers with pale green leaves to enhance the look.

Domino loved having her picture taken, especially when she was dressed up in such splendiferous dresses.  She's a genuine glamour girl.  Here she looks you straight in the eye.  Confident, too.

And here is Dani kitten in June 2017 wearing her hairitage dress.  She looks lovely as well, enhanced by the background of newly flowering bushes.  What a cutie-pie!  She is thinking more about "how do I get outta this thing?"  It kind of hampurrs her style if you get my drift.

You don't need to choose between them because they are both PURR-PET-ually adorable.  Domino just wore it first.
