WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: WHAT R COLORS?

 

DANI'S EASTER EGGCENTRICITY

Easter is coming so Dani's been collecting eggs.  Unfortunately they aren't Easter eggs.

Luckily I was able to rescue the nest and its inhabitants and place them back where they had come from.  I was wearing my mask and had gloves on so as not to leave a human scent.

And the very next day, this is what happened!

I'm happy to report that both babies and Mom are doing well.

As for Dani, well ...

... the yolk is on her!

DANI'S COMEDY: ANTICIPATION

 Dani loves her Aunt Susan who lives right across the street.   However, sometimes Auntie does some pretty strange things. 

"I'd prefur ta go back ta basics" said Dani.

"I like da kinda ants dat has dere own built-in antennae."

According to Dani: "Aunts drool while real ants rule!"

DANI: SPURRING IS A TICKLISH MATTER

Dani's chuffed that Spurring is finally here.  At least the calendar makes it official.  Dani knows March can be tricky, but she is still stoked to break out her Spurring attire.

Dani's chosen one of her best Spurring hats and a very special necklace, too.  And even though a Spurring purrse in pink comes to mind, she hasn't quite visualized it in its entirety yet.

"Ta tell yoo da troof" says Dani.

"I'm absolootly tickled pink rite now!"

"Do yoo fink itz becuz I et a pink buttahfly last nite?"

Up for tickles anyone?

DANI'S COMEDY: KEEPING YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE

Sometimes Dani takes things a little too literally.

"Yes, but you're NOT ...

... supposed to terrorEYES them!"

"O well, I guess next time I'll jus' wear glasses"  sighs Dani.

"Why didn't EYE think of that?" says I somewhat sarCATSically.

"An' if dat duzn't work, I has sumfing else ta SPIKE dere interest." says Dani. 

She is nothing if not inventive.

DANI: THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERYTHING

Here is Lady Dani posing in the library for a quick photoshoot.

You will note that she is wearing her emeralds which she inherited from her Aunt Stitches.  It's not an everyday occurrence, so this must be a special occasion.

"What's the dish on the swish, Dani?" asked I.

"My Auntie Stitches came ta visit so I thot I'd model da necklace for her.  She reely told me off!" said Dani. "She didn't like it dat I wuzn't wearin' any clothes."

"I thought she had crossed over a long time ago." said I incredulously.

"She still comes ta visit now an' den." replied Dani.  "I said fank yoo very much fur da necklace but told her mebbe she should a left me sum clothes instead if dat's da way she feels."

"An' den I said (wait for it) ... 

YOU REALLY COULD A LEFT ME IN STITCHES!"

Auntie Stitches just chuckled.

"Well, you left ME in stitches instead."  

Dani told Aunt Stitches that she loved her and Auntie said "Right back at ya!"  One thing they both know fur sure -- love is furever.   Even when you're on the Other Side.

DANI'S COMEDY: HEAD TO TOE CONTACT

 Dani is tolerant of a lot of stuff, but some things she just can't do without.

Get a whiff of that!

Hammer that thing! 

(There’s nothing quite like a hammer toe.)

Nailed it!

Watch out for the toe cleavage -- cheesy!

Being a Maine Coon purrhaps Dani should be more worried about Toe Maine Poisoning.  

Looks pretty toxic to me.  Whadda you think?

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: ME AND MY LLAMA

DANI: IN THE DUMPS

 Dani's getting quite confused -- one day we have a heap of snow come down and then a couple of days later most of it has melted.

"SPURRing is tricky" says she. "Jus' wen yoo finks is safe ta go out yoo gets a big dump!"

 "Is bad enuff wen dat happins in my littah box."

Dani, not being one to let things go (except in this case of course) has made a dePAWSit  to the snowbank.

"Turn about is fair play!" says she.

DANI'S COMEDY: COMEDIENNE OF NOTE

Dani can do the equivalent of walking and chewing gum at the same time; except in this case it's washing and opening her gums -- all while listening to mewsic!

Dani's never had a problem with getting her tongue around anything, as this picture will prove.  With a tongue that long it's quite easy reach-CHIN!

While Dani was otherwise occupied, I managed to get a close-up of that thing -- her tongue that is.  Not only is it lengthy, but it's spiked.  Not the first licker ever to be spiked, I'll wager. 

 Yowsa! 

And finally, here's Dani bopping to the beat.
