All winter Sox took refuge under the wicker chair on the front porch. Even though he found it kind of boring, it was still better than venturing into the snow.
The chair certainly provided nice cover for him. He actually came to think of it as a winter hat except that it was too large and wouldn't stay on his head if he stood up. In his state of boredom he had nothing to do but let his imagination take him away.
And then he had a light bulb moment!
In his spare time he designed a wicker chair that could actually function as a hat. Here he is wearing the PURRototype.
"Dis wun is a modul fur Spring an' Summer.
Is a lot lightah an' has good air circulashun fur da
warmah weathah."
Then Sox decided to create his own company called "Whiskery Wickers" and, of course, appointed himself Chairman of the Board. Now that he was an entrePURRneur, he would never be bored again.
However, like every Chairman of the Board he still needs to take a break now and then. That's when Sox comes up with all his bright ideas.
"And aftah I sells summa my wickah hats, I'm gonna giffs
a large PURRcentage of my monies ta CHAIRity" says he.
Sox is not only a clever boy but a generous one, too.
