AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI KITTEN: HITTING THE BRICKS

These are pictures taken in Dani's furst year, except for the last.  She was born in January and these pix range from August to October of 2017.  She sure was a curious little thing, and loved to stretch her limits.

You will notice that the patches in her fur were quite distinct then.  This would change as she matured.

And here is Dani all grown up.  You can see how her diffurent patches of colour have melded together as her fur grew longer!

And here she is hitting the bricks with other bricks.

"I just LUVS rubble!" she says joyfully.

More like TROUBLE, says I.

FUNNY FELINE FRIDAY WITH DANI AND THE FITZ

Dani welcomes you to this week's Funny Friday Felines.  Hopefully, they will leave you feline good.

Dani opens up even though she tends more towards the closed pawsition.  She is followed by a twofur from June of Zoolatry who is at odds with herself.

Nextup are two of the fresher mempurrs of Brian's Home -- Forever, Master Maxwell and wee Chipper.

Katie Isabella of Katie Isabella maintains that tub addiction of hers.

Mudpie of Mochas,Mysteries,Meows makes quite a strong impression.

New kitty Dusty of 15andMeowing makes yet another showing.

We also show off Celeste from MessyMimi'sMeanderings who is awaiting transition to her furever home.

Then, as ever,  we have Eric and Flynn of Memories of Eric and Flynn to wind us up.

Come on, Dani and kick us off (nicely, now) ...

And, in the blink of an eye (or two), we're off ...

AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI & HER DADA

Some folks found it cute previously when I posted a picture of Dada holding Dani.  Well here are three more.  Dani's Dada is endeavouring to teach Dani how to speak in tongues, but she's not interested.  You can clearly see her ignoring Dada as he babbles on.

After all, it's difficult for Dada to speak in tongues when he's got his own in the way.  Most speech just sounds like "th, th, th ..." as if he was going to say "That's All Folks!".

Truth be told, Dada has a penchant for sticking his tongue out, especially when trying to concentrate more than usual.  The odd thing is that my father used to do the same when I was a child.  And there's no genetic link between my father and Dani's Dada!  Maybe it's a male idiosyncracy.

Anyway, Dada (whose name is Walter) didn't even get to begin his lesson because, as you can see, Dani is determined to escape being mauled.  Besides, some of his spit always lands on her head. One can accept the notion of Spit an' Pawlish but in Dada's case it's Spit and Polish (hey, maybe it's a Polish tongue that reared its silly self). Overall, dealing with Dada's tongue is just too problematic.  But we love him anyway!

So, heeeeeeeeeeere's Dada ... and Dani, of course.

"Dada, is yoo home?"

"Thorry, That's All Folks!"

Pee Ess:  I lied.  You'll have to expose yourself to one more.  An earlier version.

Same kitty, same tongue, different time.

CATURDAY ART WITH DANI: AND NOW FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFURENT

Here is one of my favourite pictures of Dani.  It may not be eye-deal, but it has a lot of character.  That character oozes from Dani's right eye (and it isn't even infected)!  It is almost malificent.  Boy, Dani and Angelina could conceivably team up for Pawt II.  Malificent the Twoth, here they come.

The original picture is actually special on its own.  The light and shadow falls unexpectedly, here and there.  This is nature's art at its best.  I did, however, amp up the contrast a wee bit.

But, of course, I had to mess with it more.

Basically, I experimented with various filters in Photolab, and then I added a bit of extra glow with the Light Pen in Fotorus.  Believe me there was lots to choose from and I have a problem restraining myself.  So here are my final picks, though, truth be told, my preference is for the original.

I don't fancy myself a good photographer. Rather I am a person with a decent camera which I still don't know much about, not a bad eye (even though I can only function when wearing very thick glasses), and a desire to make Dani look good.  It's the least (emphasis on 'least') I can do.

These are the results of my fiddling around online. The pictures are so large due to a quirk in the Fotorus App.  For these Strips of photos, they only offer sizes that are too difficult to see -- no, not because of my eyesight, but because the sizes were hardcoded by the developer.  So you have your choice of miniscule or enormous.  I've tried many a time to resize them, but that hard coding ain't budging one bit.  No wonder they call it Hard!

Anyway, TMI.  The proof is in the puddytat!

See ya!
