DANI'S CANNY SENSE OF HUMOUR

Dani prefurs that her Dada feed her.  And her latest stand-up joke explains why (even though she's not standing up).

And then there's those special occasions like Dani's birthday or Christmas when Dada lays out the all-you-CAN-eat buffet, including her favourite dessert ... can you guess it?

Yes, it's that classic deliCATcy, a can o' worms!

"Yummy in my tummy" says Dani.

DANI TOYS WITH US

It's too hot to go outside these days.  We're in a protracted heat wave.  So Dani has to content herself with playing inside.

As you can see she has plenty of toys to keep her busy.  There's her bird's nest, her snail, a couple of rope mice, her floppity fish and a bunch of balls.

She also has her three-track ball tower which she got for her last birthday.  Truth be told she's whacked those things around so much, it's not quite so exciting anymore.

One of her favourite toys, though, are plastic springs which are good to chase around or carry in your mouth.  It's also fun to push them under furniture and then find them later.  It's isn't unusual to see one turn up in Dani's water bowl.

"I ackshully prefers SPRING watah." she says.

And there's nothing better than hunkering down in your cat basket surrounded by toys.  Dani likes to keep them all close by.

"Dese is my minions.

Dey're always here wen I needs 'em."

DANI BLOWS IT!

Dani's a little disturbed today but that makes for better comedy.

"I really enjoyed my own stand-up routine today -- it's bin a real blast!" exults Dani.

"An' I still wanna toy wif it".
