WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: LEATHER BOUND IN FOLIAGE

 

DANI'S COMEDY PLAYOVER!

 PURRforming comedy is very hard, especially if you're PETrified!  (Drum roll, please).  So, all of the purrticipants have worked their butts off (some more than others, like Sox, fur instance).  That's a tricky thing since it's Tocktober and you're expected to show them to efurryone (your buttocks, that is).

However, Dani's in charge and she's going to do what she can to make sure it all runs smoothly.  Dani takes up the first two spots with her nephew Sox taking up the turd -- oops, I mean third.

Next comes Miss June and her woofie relations Xander and Fiona, all of Zoolatry.  This is Xander's first foray (well, actually a two ay) into comedy.  He teamed up with Fiona so she could keep an eye on him.

We then have Seal and Simon of Brian's Home who are veterans of this sort of thing.  They happily call this a "snort of thing" because they both snort after pulling the punchline.

We also have two new friends, Mudpie of Mochas, Mysteries and Meows and Joanie of 15andMeowing to keep you amewsed right up to the end.  They have both been doing a speCATular job!

And (another drum roll, please) we're off to a flying start ... anyone have some bug spray?

AWWW MONDAY WITH DANI: IN AWE OF AUTUMN

This is Dani in late October 2017 when she was 10 months old.

As you can see she and the autumn colours blend well with each other.  Why it's almost CATmouflage!

All we have to say after that is to wish a bountiful Thanksgiving to all of our fellow Canadians.

"Save me summa da giblets!" says Dani.

I'll do what I can, says I.

SUNDAY SELFIE WITH DANI: ON THE BALL!

I tried something new with Dani this week.  I sequestered her behind a glass lens so she didn't have much room to move her phone camera around.

She looked rather annoyed, but that was aside the point.  The point was to get a decent selfie.  

Actually, I must confess that I took the picture of her taking her picture because I knew this wasn't going to work either.  However, keeping her absolutely still in a closed environment did produce a decent result.

Now if I can only get her to smile!

"I bin hoodwinked!" declares Dani rather incensed at the thought.

I guess she wasn't on the ball after all!

CATURDAY ART WITH DANI: CHANGING IT UP

 Dani is up for Fall in a big way!  Being a longhaired cat, she doesn't tolerate the heat very well.  So tempurratures now are such that she can enjoy a little more time outside than before.

I must admit that the art today isn't new this year, but is worthy of displaying again as opposed to most of the other choices.  Besides with all of the filter changes, what was old is new once more.

I use an iPad as one of my blogging tools, so I searched through the Apple App for new photo editing pawsibilities.  This time I found the "Distressed FX" application which has 40 different distressed looks to match any mood.  I have used but a few so far.  I have indicated the name of each filter underneath the corresponding picture.
