DANI: THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT!

Dani's 'owl' dressed up today in one of her fafurite frocks and she can't wait to tell you 'owl' about it!

"My dress has a big owl on da back an' a buncha liddle owls sittin' in trees all 'round da skirt. Wotta hoot!"

Dani's obviously owl-obsessed as there's so much more to her outfit than you-know-WHO.  It's a lovely turquoise frock whichever way you look at it, with dark brown trim around the polka-dot collar, and brown tree branches with pink blossoms (and. yes, those owls) on the polka-dotted skirt. Underlying this are layers of frilly pink tulle giving it an ultra-fem effect.

Dani has selected a fascinator, in deep turquoise with a white off-kilter bow on top adorned with a brown 'twig' and sparkly pink jewel, for her head.  It really sets off her frock fabulously!

She is also wearing a silver necklace with pretty owl pendant in complementary colours. See?

And last but not least is this sublime (well, turquoise actually) boho bag in soft leather with brass accents and tied with a showy pink sash on one side.  On the alligator leather clasp front-and-center is, yes, an owl which makes this avant-garde purrse the purrfect accessory for Dani's duds. (And in a tussle for supremacy, it's sure nice to see that the owl came out on top of the alligator for a change.)

"OWL-lay-loo-ya!" shouts Dani in an outburst of joy.

DANI: TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE!

Dani was in the garden on a sunny Sunday ...

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: MY 'ORIENTATION' IS SILLY!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY FROM DANI

Dani wants to help our American friends to celebrate their Independence Day.

So she has dressed up with a crown of red, white and blue stars on her head and a beautiful silver necklace with a circle pendant in red, white and blue gems.  She has also chosen a royal blue PURRse with red, white and blue embellishment to go along with everything else.

Dani just can't wait until tomorrow when she can go shopping in upstate New York.  There are lots of outlet stores there, you see.  She only has one problem.

"It's da X-Change rate" says she.  "I has Canadian monies and no mattah how much I spends in da U.S., I ain't gonna get any change.  Fur instance, today if I has a Canadian dollah, dey wood only gives me 77 cents fur it.  But if yoo gets a reely good deal, it's still worf it."

Today, though, Dani is all about celebrating the U.S. in all its glory because when a friend has a birthday, you want to do efurrything you can to make it a great one.  So ...

"I hopes it goes off wif a BANG!"

DANI CELEBRATES CANADA DAY!

This is Dani's very first Canada Day because she was only born in January this year.  And 2017 is a very special year for Canadians because it is the 150th anniversary of our country.

Dani is celebrating our flag by wearing a maple-leaf adorned red straw hat along with a maple-leaf necklace around her pretty neck.  Her shiny red purse has a Canadian flag emblem on the front and she is holding a tiny Canadian flag between her front toes as well.

Dani is also promoting Canadian industry because she, herself, was:

"I wuz PURRoduced (or, more accurately, rePURRoduced) in da Lacocoon Cattery in Lacolle, Quebec" says she.

"So I is French Canadian even doe my new parents is English and Polish Canadians. But I loves dem anyways."

And today, spreading the love is what it's all about.

Dani's new friend has been working like a beaver (mainly because he is a beaver) waving the Canadian flag beaverishly to wish efurryone the best Canada Day efur.
