WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: WISHIN' I WASN'T HERE

DANI AKA PURRINCESS SNOWFLAKE!

Here's not-so-little PURRincess Snowflake (aka Dani).  She is celebrating all that snow by wearing her natural fur coat enhanced by her very special snowflake necklace.

"I hope yoo doan fink I'm flaky cuz I'm not!" 

Dani is actually quite substantial, weighing in around 17 lbs.

"An' I'm definitely NOT flake news.  I'm da reel fing."

My goodness, I think she's finally twigged to something!

"Let me meditates on it fur awhile" said she serenely.

DANI: WIND BROKEN

I call this picture "Breaking Wind" and indeed Dani was the buffer for a really stiff breeze.

"Buffuring, buffuring" said Dani as she absorbed the shock.

But that wasn't the only insult to her being.

Her nose was also being assaulted.

"Sum cats just can't keep dere wind to demselves.
Coff, coff".

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: OVER ICE!

DANI: TWO, TWO, TWO COATS IN ONE!

Dani thought, at first, that she was getting one new winter coat this year, but instead she got two!  Actually, the same coat does double duty.  One side is quilted orange and it reverses to leopard-print.

"My, how fings has snowballed!" remarked Dani.

"Well yoo noes wot dey say -- 
double yoor pleasure, double yoor fun!"

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: HANGIN' OUT IN THE 'HOOD WITH MY PAW

DANI: SNOWFLAKES ARE FALLIN' ON MY HEAD!

These are pictures from one year ago this month.  Dani has grown quite a bit since then, but other than that she looks pretty much the same.

DANI: ALL ATWITTER IN WINTER!

Dani's outside listening to surround sound coming from some birds of winter.

They are tweeting at her furiously:

"Ain't she tweet?

Just a-walkin' down the street

Yes, we ask you very confidentially

Ain't she tweet?

"Wot bull!" remarked Dani.

Well, what else can you expect from bullfinches?

How tweet it is!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANI: NEVER FAR FROM GNOME!

DANI ON ORANGE OVERLOAD

You might have to shield your eyes for this one!

"Dis is da new orange!" exults Dani.

She's tired of hearing that "orange is the new black" or orange is this or that.  Dani adores orange and doesn't want it to be anything other than what it is.

So she turned coat (from the leopard side) to the opulent orange side and paired it with an equally vibrant orange knit hat studded with a few orange pearls.  Around Dani's neck is a pretty silver necklace with a quite out-of the-ordinary orange garnet pendant. And her deep orange purse is yet another expression of this fruity fringe element.

"Orange-ya glad I'm on da fringe?" asked she, referring to her 'out-there' penchant for orange.

Once back inside and snuggled in her favourite orange chair, Dani's feline kinda mellow.

"How'd ya like ta join me for a cuppa?"

she asks.

"Is Orange Pekoe acourse an' accordin' to da label

it'll help ya get all 'loose' ...

...  jus' like me!
